Dedicated Lane Security Deposit
Shipper’s require a $395 Security deposit for all dedicated lanes, payable through Zelle, or Venmo. This payment secures the pickup number for your load and ensures a smooth scheduling process. Once the driver submits the payment, they will immediately receive a Refundable Receipt and BOL with Pickup Number. This full deposit is returned after the successful completion of the first delivery, ensuring fairness and transparency for every carrier.
WHY SHIPPER’S REQUIRE A SECURITY DEPOSIT ?
This deposit is not just our policy — it is often a requirement directly from shippers. In the past, carriers have booked lanes and then disappeared at pickup, failing to answer calls from the broker, dispatcher, or even the shipper. When this happens, the shipper is left responsible for the damages, as their client’s freight remains undelivered and commitments are broken. These situations damage the shipper’s reputation and create costly disruptions in the supply chain.
The $395 security deposit prevents this problem by ensuring that carriers are committed and serious. With this safeguard in place, shippers have confidence that their loads will be picked up on time, and carriers show professionalism by making a refundable security payment.
PROFESSIONALISM, SECURITY & RELIABILITY:
The deposit system protects shippers, brokers, and carriers alike. It prevents last-minute cancellations, reduces operational risks, and guarantees that loads move smoothly without unnecessary delays. For carriers, it provides a chance to demonstrate professionalism and reliability while securing a guaranteed refund upon their first completed delivery.
